Terms and Conditions

1. Under the Refer a Seafarer Program,  seafarers, spouse of seafarers and employees of manning agencies are invited to earn Referral Points by referring a qualified seafarer to avail of the Seafarers Loan Program. The following Terms apply to the referees and referrers (together referred to as the “Participants”) participating in the Program.
   
   AUB reserves the right to do any of the following at any time without prior notice:
   
   
   1. make any changes to the Refer a Seafarer Program;
   2. change or vary these program Terms and Conditions;
   3. cancel or withdraw this Promotion
   
   
2. Eligibility
   In order to be part of the program, the referrer must register and have a verified account at https://aubreferaseafarer.avail.at.
   
   Prior to referring a seafarer to AUB Seafarers Loan Program (the "Bank"), you must
   
   
   1. consent to the Bank disclosing your name;
   2. obtain the consent of such Referred Individual to your provision of their personal data relating to such Referred Individual set out in the secured website of AUB;
   3. inform each Referred Individual of the purpose of obtaining their personal data. The purpose is to use their personal data by the Bank for marketing of the AUB Seafarers Loan Program; and
   4. inform, and obtain the consent of, such Referred Individual to the Bank's representative contacting them via telephone and SMS.
   
   
3. A Referral will be considered successful when:
   
   The referred individual
   
   
   1. is at least 18 years old as at the date of referral;
   2. successfully availed of AUB Seafarers Loan Program
   
   
4. For every successful referral, the referrer shall receive 1% of the loan amount.  Redemption of the referral points shall be through the website only.
5. Determination of the eligibility of a successful referral by the Bank shall be final, conclusive and binding and no appeal or correspondence will be entertained.
6. The Bank's decision on all matters related to the Refer a Seafarer Program, will be final and binding on all participants of this referral program.
